HELP FIND WILSON THIS SUNDAY, AUG 3

First of all, i want to THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart for your support. I know Wilson would lick your faces, or well...sit on you (his weird way of showing his affection) if he knew how loved he was.

Wilson is an amazing boy. He's been my best friend for the past 4 years and is so terribly missed. He was about a year and a half old when he chose me to take care of him. i taught him how to swim (i know, weird for a lab not to know how to swim) and i taught him manners. He is a true gentleman and knows the rules of good behavior. All he wanted was to make sure i was happy and he stood by my side, hung out in Fan coffee shops with me, went shopping in carytown with me, and ventured on hikes and off road camping trips with me. If i could rewind the time i would give anything to have him with me safe in Richmond.

I feel very good about finding him. With the positive energy each of you bring to my life, i feel Wilson WILL be found.

That said, at the encouragement of Ann and Sharon, we are pulling together forces to hit the Goochland area HARD. I have been numerous times (thank you Drew) and have hit most areas piece by piece in hopes of someone leading me to him. I have had dreams of my finding him prancing toward me as if nothing was ever wrong.

There have recently been a couple sightings in the Haydensville area as well as the
Dogtown Rd area... Could it be???

So.... I would love your support in gathering forces and finding him this Sunday August 3. We are planning to meet at
9:15 at the Panera Bread on Broad Street (11703 W Broad) and I would like to treat everyone to their Sunday morning cup of coffee before we head out by 9:30.

Wilson was staying with friends at 3330 Cedar Plains Road in Sandy Hook. He went missing on June 7th. Just shy of 2 months ago.

There are 5 main areas to search..
1. Haydensville - (thank you Terry and Joan for your information about the recent sighting at Sheldon Ridge)
2. Millforest 2, Sandyhook - apparently,
Wilson had been scouting around there from time to time while staying at the Dearden's.
3. Dogtown Road - from Whitehall to Hwy 6
4. Goochland - route 522 from
Sandy Hook into Goochland
5.
Cedar Plains Rd from White hall to the very end - the road that Wilson lived on for approx 5 weeks before he went missing

I will have maps and supplies ready..
If you would like to invite additional friends, please feel free to. let me know so that i can have additional "search packets" ready...and again THANK YOU!!!!!

big hug,
Christina

OMG... Did you say Chocolate Lab?!?!? when you asked me if I've seen your chocolate, I thought you meant your "candy". This whole time been looking for a box of Wilson's Chocolate. I'll refocus my effort on Sunday to look for a dog.

Christina: I just took Keegan's temp again and it hasn't gone down... so we will not be there tomorrow. I am sooooo upset and have been looking forward to the Wilson search all week. I was even able to get Keegan excited about going searching.. I bought him his own dog whistle and he was stoked. I emailed you earlier but didn't hear back so I am trying this. Since my child has this Rodo virus thing I can't find a baby sitter because everyone has kids.. If you want I can drive over after Rudy gets home from work at 6:00pm (just let me know). I and LUKE will be sending good thoughts to you and Wilson. I will tell WILSON TO RUN TO THE VOICES CALLING HIS NAME..lol>. Call me or email me as soon as you get home to let me know how it goes. If Keegan has a miraculous turnaround then I will call you first thing in the morning. WILSON does need to come home and get spoiled !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what Theresa has to share...

Hi Christina,
I'm a craigslister that has been following your search for Wilson for weeks now. I wish that I could help search but I am disabled and unable to do so. I've been praying for you and Wilson because I can tell how much you love him. Don't give up hope...I lost one of our cats two years ago ..she was found 15 miles from our home so follow every lead. I've downloaded your flyer from the blog spot and will have friends and relative post them everywhere we can.

I thought of some sites that we used for posting lost ads that you may not have tried :

Louisaonline.com (in lost pets section) ...that was the contact that lead to us recovering our cat (close enough to Goochland area)

dogdetective.com

and

richmondpetlovers.com (in their classified section they have lost and found pets)

Good Luck with the Search,
Teresa

THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTS TERESA!!

Just checking to see if there are any other dates set up when there will be another search. I work at a vet in Chesterfield and will post flyers there. Keeping good thoughts going... he will be coming home soon.

Words to Lean on...

“Hi I posted yesterday on the lost and found site that we found Luke about 2 miles away from our home. For those who don't know Luke has been missing for 2 months. Something that I thought would never happen has. I guess it just goes to show that you have to keep hoping. I have grown attached to the lost pets on CL over the past 2 months. I want more than anything for Wilson, Petey, the dog lost on Parham/Patterson to be reunited with their owners. I want to also thank everyone for letting me be the crazy cat lady and post day after day since May 26th.. I am praying for all of the lost pets!!!!”

“I'm sorry I don't have any information on Wilson but just wanted to let you know that I am praying for his safe return. Goochland County will be starting school in a week or two, someone will see him early in the morning while waiting for a bus or getting their child off to school. I have friends in the Goochland/Hadensville area and they are also keeping a look out for your boy as well.God Bless you and he will be home soon!”

I have seen your ads and I wish I had info but I just couldn't help emailing, I know you are so stressed and worried. My Rottie got away from us one time and was missing for 3 days, it was horrible. I just wanted you to know - one pet lover to another - that honest and caring people are seeing this ad and those of us that know your plight are praying for the safe return of Wilson, he is beautiful and much loved. I just wanted you to know that some people are out there and feel your pain and our thoughts are with you!
Take care,
Tina

Prayer to St. Anthony

St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek: to find Wilson.

The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours.
